Hello Wizardz,

Using Automated Action you can send mail to you/others when User is created in Odoo.

1) For that you have to first create the Email Template from Settings/Technical/Email/Templates menu. In that select Applies to as 'res.users'(Users) model, set subject, Enter whatever detail you want in Email Body, Set From Address, To address, etc..

2) Create the Server Action from Settings/Technical/Actions/Server Actions menu. In that set Base Model as res.users(Users), select Action To Do = Send Email, Select Email Template, that you have previously Created.Save the record.

3) Go to Settings/Technical/Automation/Automated Actions  menu. In that create one Automated Action. Select Related Document Model as res.users(Users), When to Run = On Creation, Add Action from Action tab, here add Action that you have created in step 2.

Once everything is done, try to create User. The To (Emails) is set in the Email Template will receive the mail. Also make sure your Outgoing server is configured properly.
