I can create a company with a company as a parent! Is this a bug?

Question

I'm new to Odoo and I watched a video to test myself.
What I found was When I clicked CREATE at Contact instance, There are two radio button which are individual and company.
First I clicked individual radio button and clicked "TEST COMPANY" on dropdown menus, Then I clicked company radio button and the "TEST COMPANY" is still there which is not supposed to be there.
And fill out some information for the company "MY COMPANY" and click save button to create a company.

The company drop-down SHOULD be there - this is how you create a company with a company as a parent.
Example: *Google *is a company with *Alphabet *as a parent.
It isn't a bug.

There are 2 types of companies: the user company (My Company), which is running the business using Odoo, and partner companies (such as Test Company), to which a contact may belong to. Contacts can be everybody: users, individuals and companies.
