We have recently started operating in multi company in V14 and an issue that has popped up is that Odoo shares the cost across multiple companies. I know that the company field can be set to one company and then the product duplicated into the other, the problem is we have stock moves against products in both companies that restricts setting a single company to it. 

I need a workaround for this. Odoo differentiates stock on hand between companies, and can set different price lists to have different sales price for multi companies, each company has its own accounts, journals and inventory valuation, surely there is a way to set a different cost price between companies?

If the only option is to archive the codes and create them again we will lose years of history and stock moves on these products which is not ideal.
