I want to log into Odoo kiosk mode with barcode.
We will use kiosk mode with a Raspberry Pi without keyboard.
Does someone know if it's possible ? And how to do this ?

Just goto Attendances ->
Click on Kiosk Mode. You will get a kiosk mode window.
After enabling the kiosk window mode, you can scan your badge with the barcode.
I'm trying to figure out how this can work for an unattended kiosk, do i need to make a separate user that serves only the purpose to log in to the attendance kiosk page ? Or can the kiosk page be made public (without a user logged in) so that for example a raspberry pi opens this page at boot and personal can pass by and clock in/out ...
Any ideas ? we will start odoo enterprise soon with +-20 users probably on odoo cloud servers..
Curious if you ever came to a resolution on this? If I'm to have a tablet or PC in the break room for clocking in does it really need it's own user license?
Once you will go to the attendance, there you can see a kiosk mode. once you will click on kiosk mode, you will have functionality to scan your badge. inside badge you can also use your barcode as well. so once you will scan it. you will have login entry in the system.
