How to inject CSS to modify personnalisables websites

Question

Hi everyone,

I recently tried to modify some values from a preview theme i downloaded and i got stuck very fast.
I downloaded the css through this address : /web/content/5509-cc954fd/2/web.assets_frontend.css

I tried to put css directly in the JS/HTML/CSS editor but I didn't get the result I wished to.
A modification of the width didn't work but a border did work. WHY?

I, unfortunately, don't understand how to start to put back the css I modified in the previously mentioned file.
