Is there another “layout” option for this type of field. While chaning the date is pretty simple, adjusting the time using slide bars is very difficult.
Please suggest me how I can change the default datetime picker template?

for this you have to change view_form.js file in instance.web.form.FieldDatetime
and also related template in base.xml of template= FieldDatetime.
