Hello,

I’m configuring a sales order workflow in Odoo and need some help with the following scenario:

We frequently have calls with clients where they ask us to provide estimates for several tasks (e.g., up to 10 different tasks) that we can perform for them. We want to add these tasks as optional products in a sales order, allowing the client to select which ones they want to move forward with. Each selected service should then translate into a task in a project.

However, I’ve encountered an issue where if the same service product is added as an optional product, it disappears from the list of available optional products, preventing the client from selecting it multiple times. We also want to keep the flexibility to add more services later without affecting the existing options.

Here’s what I’m aiming to achieve:

  • Allow customers to select the same service multiple times in the optional products list.
  • Each selection should generate a corresponding task in a project.
  • The system should allow us to add more services later without removing or duplicating existing ones.

What’s the best way to configure this workflow in Odoo? I’m open to both functional configurations and custom code solutions.
