In previous versions was module base_module_record. Version 7.0 have anything for it?

base_module_record: this was a developer tool we removed as almost no developer was using it. It was not clean enough to respect new OpenERP quality standards ;
But it is was suitable for quick create demo data and then convert it to quality standards. Especially for images. Compared with create everything from scratch by hands.
