How can I resolve a Peppol Error "The user doesn't existing on the proxy" in v16?

Hi everyone,

When trying to activate Peppol on v16, I encountered the error attached.

This happened after following the instructions here: https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/230125 and updating the system parameter account_edi_proxy_client.demo to “prod”.

Since the state didn’t seem to change, I then attempted to unregister the company from the Peppol network to restart the process, and that’s when the error occurred.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation?

"Peppol Error in v16" is not a question. A question is a substantial phrase that ends with "?"

We get close to 1,000 posts a month and not everyone will open a post to find out what your question is.

I have edited your post to make the title a question.

In the future, please consider (1) using a Question that makes it clear what you ask without requiring people to open your post and (2) adding Tags. This will often increase the chances people will respond and also make everything clearer for others who may come along later searching for the same thing.

Failing that, you can paste your future posts into an AI Chatbot and ask it to "please generate a question of no more than 16 words that summarizes what I am asking" and use that as your question.

If the state doesn't change after regeistration, you probably can have a check on the scheduled action "PEPPOL: update participant status", and try to excute it manually.


Update (because I cannot answer you comment anymore)

I haven’t met this error before, but the error msg appears to be an issue coming from the Odoo PEPPOL server or PEPPOL. It may be related to your VAT ID (or another identification number if you’re not using a VAT ID).

I would recommend trying a sample VAT ID (or whichever ID type you are using) to test it. If the process goes through successfully, it likely means that your ID number is causing the issue on the Odoo PEPPOL server, and you may need to contact their support team.
