Hi Gautam,

To handle expiry date in odoo you have to go to

Inventory -> Configuration ->Settings

There you have to change the options under Traceability

1) Make Lots and Serial Numbers as Track lots or serial numbers.

2) Expiration Dates as Define Expiration Date on serial numbers.

Then you get a new Menu "Lots/Serial numbers" Under Inventory-->Inventory Control.

You can define Best before Date, End of Life Date, Removal Date, Alert Date there.

But you don't get any email notifications. I think need customizations for that.
