Kindly, could someone help us understanding how changing ecommerce display order for payment providers: even though we do drag on back-end, display order is not being changed on front-end.

It seems the  criterion employed by Odoo is creation ID. This probably being very poor user interface approach, because ecommerce shops are used to prioritize any of them
