Coupon Codes in V8 - Where to define them?

Question

I have been working on this for some time (Months off and on) but have gotten no where.
I have seen the same answer on multiple thread by @Prakash but they seem to be missing something - possibly because they reference a v6.1 manual

I have tried setting up the price list and know that they work as I am using them for other aspects of my sales but there seems to be no way of adding a coupon / Promotion code

I have a fix for this
In my installation, the view product.pricelist.website.form had a group set to public.
Removing this allowed the Promotional Code field to appear in the pricelist.
However the shopping cart still was not applying the discount when I entered the code in Coupon Code.
This was due to a bug, which was fixed in this patch.

I my V8 Saas database, the coupon code appears in the pricelist form.
The name of the field is Code
