“I’m encountering a problem in my company where I manage product inventory for our clients through Odoo. When we receive a product with an EAN-128 barcode, I’m supposed to be able to scan it to retrieve essential information such as quantity and weight. However, I’m unable to scan these EAN-128 barcodes in Odoo. The barcodes that I’ve created myself are not an issue, but those coming from outside the company pose a challenge. Creating new barcodes for each external product in Odoo is not a feasible solution. Moreover, I need to be able to juggle between different functionalities like receiving, transferring, delivering, and returning, and adapt all of this with the handheld scanner.
