I would like to change the currency symbol of Omani Rial from Arabic text to the letters "OMR" is there any way to accomplish this? 

Please note: there is no currency symbol field when I create or edit currency

Hi,

You can change it from Invoicing/Accounting -> Configuration -> Accounting -> Currencies, search OMR, now you will see the Oman Rial currency, open it, in the form you will have the field symbol, you can edit and change it to OMR instead of arabic symbol.

The above menu is visible only if the multi currency is activated in the database, to activate it, go to Invoicing/Accounting -> Configuration-> Settings and enable multi currency. After changing the currency symbol, if you don't need multi currency feature, you can disable it from the same place.

there is no multi-currency option in  Invoicing/Accounting -> Configuration-> Settings, maybe it was in earlier versions of Odoo. I am using version 15

there is no  field symbol in  Invoicing/Accounting -> Configuration -> Accounting -> Currencies.
