Can someone provide insights into functional and technical certifications? What is the process to attain them? I would also be grateful for any documentation suggestions pertaining to these two topics.

Thank you for your insightful response. Could you please clarify whether functional and technical certifications are the same? If they differ, I would appreciate it if you could guide me on where to find information regarding payment amounts, exam specifics, the distinctions between the two, and the separate links for exam registration. I have looked but couldn't determine if the links pertain to technical or functional certifications.

Odoo technical pertains to coding, custom development, and the underlying architecture of the platform, whereas Odoo functional is concerned with configuring the system, optimizing its modules, and aligning its features with business processes for efficient use.

If you need to be certified odoo functional, you can just pay for the exam and get certified. There is no criteria that you have to be odoo partner to attend the exam.

The exam will cover the following subjects: Website, eCommerce, Survey, Marketing, CRM, Sales, Purchases, Project, Timesheet, Accounting, Inventory, MRP, HR, Spreadsheet, POS and Studio.

You’ll have 1.5 hours to complete this 125-questions exam.
You must score (at least) 70% to PASS.
Each CORRECT answer is worth 1 point.
Each WRONG answer will cost you ½ point.
Each UNANSWERED question is worth 0 point.
