Hello!


I wanted to know whether can we create a multiple company in "Custom Plan -  Standard Cloud Hosting - Free" in the hosting type.

What will happen to the subscription?


In case not, the actual need is to know how to maintain a division/brand in the same company. Where the division/brand is entitled to do different lines of business and also have a separate team. Hence the users also should be given permission to access the documents, report, P & L to the respective division/brand only.

Hi,
Multiple companies are allowed. Just make sure, you are only using one app

What if I want to use multiple apps?

And also what are the other options to handle my scenario to maintain multiple divisions/brands in the same company as i have explained in the above post?

Not sure which plan you are using, if you are using multiple apps now (mostly then you will be paying your sub fees), then its fine to create a new company

if you are using one app free plan, you can add more companies

Odoo v17 and yes paying the sub fees.

Kindly give me another option if available rather than creating a company to maintain multiple divisions/brands we have under one company name registration number.
