We are currently trying out Odoo on a test site. Is it possible to create quotes for projects based on some calculations (number of hours, overhead, travel, per diem, parts plus markup, etc)? Is this something that would come out of the box or something we need to code?

Hi, It's mostly depending on how you compute your quotes. Usual quotes with hours / days, expenses,... are supported out of the box. Contracts management allows to bill the exact number of hours you did, reinvoice expenses and schedule fixed billing over milestones.
