Am I seeing this right, does the rendering of my Settings/Modules/Apps management page depend on the external openerp apps site (apps.openerp.com...) being accessible
I can understand you'd want to be aware of updates and such but I can't see why I can't even see my local/current modules.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Akuntansi
- Inventaris
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

You can install local modules with 2 click install method but menu is not visible by default. You need to enable technical features.
Please check my screen video that I prepared for another answer.
You will see how to install local modules.

I understand that. But this is a separate issue. The apps.openerp.com site is currently down. And because of this, certain resources can't be loaded on my local install of openerp. I don't have enough karma to show the broken link ;)
http://v6apps.openerp.com Not sure why I have the karma to post this tbh. In fact I get some notice that I don't so if you don't see this type v6apps period openerp period com after http colon forward slash forward slash

This is frustrating indeed. If OpenERP depends on a website, the site going down severely restricts the application's use.
It is possible to install the apps off launchpad using
bzr
, but now what was meant as a convenience has become inconvenient.A workaround is to click on 'Installed Modules'. All this does is pre-fill the search filter at the top of the page with 'Installed Modules' and this view appears to render fine. If you then remove that filter - it will show all apps again.
seems like this has now shown up as a redirect at http://v6apps.openerp.com Just as when one goes to many of the http://openerp.com locations one gets http://v6.openerp.com. It is very irritating I agree. I had a Patchbuilt that was pointing at a certain repository that was also remapped. Seems OpenERP does not always realize the value of continuity. I could elaborate but will not just now. Trying, as with all of you, to get the system to work.
