This has happened a couple of times where an ECO/BOM update has been processed whilst a Sale/ MO has been confirmed but no completed. What happens in the MO after the BOM update is the BOM has the archive label on it and in the MO it says a newer version of the BOM is available, but I cannot see a way of updating it to the new BOM in the MO
Is there anyway around this?
Odoo 16
In Odoo 16.0, once the Manufacturing Order is confirmed, you can't change the Bill of Materials.
You can cancel it, and duplicate it to create a new draft Manufacturing Order and change THAT one to use the new Bill of Materials.
Changing on a confirmed MO is supported with Odoo 17.0
