Hallo Everyone,

I have defined workcenters (machines + human) and various routings that uses these workcenters to finish manufacturing a product. I have defined sequences in routing so that workorder can be performed one after other.

I am able to generate automatically a manufacturing order along with required work orders (workcenters from routing) when a quotation is confirmed as sale.

Since the product has to go through various workcenters, is it possible to send an email alert to the next person / workcenter when their workorder is due to start ?

In other words, is it possible to assign a person(s) responsible for a workcenter and alert them when the product is waiting for their work order to be done ?

Why don't you try the scheduler.

You need something like the functionality occures in the contract screen. That is when the contract end date is passed a notification is sent to the account manager. You can check that and try to imitate.
