Crateit ApS
Crateit ApS makes wooden toys that invite children to play, imagine, and immerse themselves.
The toys are made in Denmark and assembled by hand at protected workshops, where the
focus is also on creating meaningful jobs for people with special needs.
The company was founded by Martin and Tonny in 2021 with a clear goal: to combine creative
play with social responsibility. Their idea is simple – children should be free to play on their own
terms, and the toys should be fun, educational, and well made.
Crateit’s toy sets are designed for kids to assemble and color themselves. It helps strengthen
motor skills, imagination, and the sense of having created something on their own. There are no
flashing lights or sounds – just solid toys with room for personal expression.
Crateit believes you can make something that’s good for both children and adults. That’s why
their work is just as much about people as it is about products – and it shows in everything they
do.
