Awal Women Society

Currently, AWS has 3 main divisions:

1- Microstart: The project aims to support small projects started by Bahraini citizens, especially women, by providing them with small loans that are easily repaid without any profits.

2- Awal Kids Kindergarten: Established in 1980 with the aim of providing care for pre-primary children and preparing them to enter regular schools. The kindergarten employs specialized teachers in the field of kindergarten, and it is considered one of the model kindergartens. It contains modern and distinguished curricula and programs. At the end of the academic year, a graduation ceremony is held for children who will level up to primary schools.

3- Alnaqda: The Naqda craft is one of the most famous hand embroidery crafts practiced by Bahraini women. This project aims to preserve the national heritage and develop it to suit the spirit of the current era via embroidery and sales and participation in local and foreign exhibitions.
