Is there a way to import an XML in a way similar to importing a CSV from the interface, without creating a module just to import the data ?

You may need to create the script to parse the XML data and import it or you can format the XML file as per data file format and add it in the module (It's like loading data file while installing module).
Hi Alessandro:
The UI based Import facility supports CSV and Excel files only. It does not support XML files.
