I have created a company in my OpenERP account and paid for the necessary payment. Now I have installed OpenERP in windows, during installation it asks for the PostgreSQL Connection Information, what shall I put in there? I don't think it should be the localhost, cause I have the company on the web, is it?

My goal is to be able to install a module in the weblient of the company I've created and paid for.

If you created a database on OpenERP Online (and that you are paying for it) at https://www.openerp.com/start, you don't have to install anything on your computer to run it. All you need is a browser and connect to http://yourcompany.my.openerp.com where "yourcompany" is the name you used when you registered.

Thank you for the information. But how can we install a module or a custom module in OpenERP 7?

You can install modules from Settings > Modules > Apps

How about uploading custom module? Can we do that?

Yes, you have to register your repository on the Apps platform https://apps.openerp.com/admin

Thanks sir, I have tried registering a new repository. Where shall I start uploading/importing the module?

The repository you have to register has to be a Launchpad.net repository. To learn more about how to use launchpad, visit https://doc.openerp.com/contribute/ and https://help.launchpad.net/
