Restrict Categories option is disable under settings.

I have installed odoo 18 on my local system

I am looking into Point of Sale system

how can I enable that?

Hello Conal,

The "Restriction Categories" option remains disabled as long as your current POS session is active. To enable it, you must first close the ongoing session by selecting the "Close Register" option from the menu as shown in the below image.
