Does anyone of you know if there is any kind of "Product Selector" module available somewhere for any Odoo version, preferably for version 8.

When you select the sort of paper you get some more choices etc..
The main goal is when you select multiple features you will get the right product, the module will then check of this is an existing product or will make a product based on the chosen features. The multiple features can create up to 2 milion products, which is not a good idea to already make in the system.

You should search for "Product Configurator" instead and you will find helpful information. Check for example the product variant configurator from OpenMRP or the Belsonno configurator use case from Bloopark.
