Maybe a clarification is needed or it is a misconfiguration but I was under the impression, that POS inventory process (with real time configuration) works the same as the warehouse process with routes in Odoo v16.

So if you have a main location Store_A defined as a source location for a rule, it will also consider Store_A/Subloaction B or Store_A/SublocationB/SublocationC (children of A) for searching products and take them from the sub locations if needed.

It seems that POS is only searching in the default location and not in sub location. Is this correct?

We would need to include sub locations as well as our store has shelves with different locations and we need to track, where the products are. Furthermore, for sale order transfers to POS, we have a dedicated pickup zone within the store.
