Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of evaluating Odoo to see if it can replace some of our Finance/Field Services/Helpdesk systems at our Organization. I do have a Trial set up and a meeting with their Sales team to discuss but I am wondering if someone can let me know if what I have envisioned is even going to be possible.

  1. A portal where our site leadership can access to request items to be purchased. We have a PO Portal right now where they fill out what they want purchased (with links to what they want from vendor websites), the cost centres it goes to, and it has approves based on certain limits. It will than notify our Purchasing Team (which is really just a single person) to manually process that purchase. I am hoping Odoo can have that functionality plus more. IE: A catalog of standardized purchases with pricing so our Site Leadership can pick from when they fill out a Purchase Request.
  2. A "Helpdesk" style system where our Finance team can log into and see Invoices that either come in from Vendors or from Site Leadership that get an invoice mailed or emailed directly to them. I know the system does parse the Invoice so that is good, but is there a way to allow for communications in and out of the system like tickets?
