Naked URL not redirecting to www - odoo 16 online

Question

Hi guys,

I am setting up 2 sites on odoo, one is using the xyz.odoo.com and the other mywebsite1.com url.
Followed all the instructions from the official odoo documentation https://www.odoo.com/documentation/16.0/administration/maintain/domain_names.html , and created a redirect on godaddy for mywebsite1.com .
Site will load under www.mywebsite1.com but not from mywebsite1.com
It also sometimes loads the xyz.odoo.com and sometimes www.mywebsite1.com
Also, I will be transferring soon a second do

I see Odoo only supports subdomains
You can redirect 301 domain.com [1]  to www.domain.com

HI
1. added my Subdomain with www as described.
2. www.myfancydomain . org works fine
3. myfancydomain . org ends up on the DNS Porvider Page
Because odoo is not able to add a check box where I can say "forward to www" and I have to use a dedicated solution for the forwarding? how dump is this?
Please, tell me I'm wrong, I can't belive I payed over 150 euro a year and this easy setting is not possible?

Hi,
Odoo doesn't let you use naked domains.
Try adding sub-domains instead.

I have the same problem, please let me know what the solution is. Odoo does not allow you to register domains without www.
