What is the function of the flag "Manage Properties of Product" under Technical Settings in the User Access Rights tab? I can't find any reference in the documentation, any help is appreciated.

Settings --> Users --> Groups
in the group Manage Properties of Product that members of this group are given access to three additional Manufacturing menus:
