I'm trying to make it so that for every dollar of purchase, the customer earns a point. If I buy a product for $60.00, I have to give 60 points to my customer.

The problem is that when I select the product at the point of sale, it's also taking the tax to give me points, and that's what I don't want.

When I check my loyalty program settings, I see that I have the option that tells me to exclude taxes correctly.

I also tested with version 17 of Odoo and I get the same problem.

Is this an Odoo bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Rafa,

This is not a bug. The option you mentioned determines whether loyalty points are added to the customer based on the sales order. The "Minimum Quantity" field specifies that loyalty points are only added when the customer purchases more than the mentioned quantity. The "Minimum Purchase" field specifies that loyalty points are only added when the total purchase cost exceeds the mentioned amount. The tax inclusion/exclusion option applies only to these conditions. It seems there is no option to set tax inclusion/exclusion for assigning loyalty points.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
