when accessing journal entries, i am unable to see debit & credit entries, only seeing log notes & send message option, what is the issue?

Can you share a screenshot to better understand your question?
Ensure you have all the required permissions to see the entries and check if you have any filters on your search bar.
If you're a developer, check your last modules updates to see if you broke anything.
Also, I recommend you to check if you're using the correct database.
