I am trying to use the addon report_xls to export some reports to Excel. The module is this one:

The problem is that I do not have any idea of how to work with this. I downloaded the suggested modules and I read their code but it is very difficult to be understood by a person with my OpenERP knowledge level. I would like to find a good tutorial, a better example, or at least, the basics for getting started.

Thank you @Davide, but I have to use the module report_xls in the same way of other modules use it, like for example account_journal_report_xls or account_move_line_report_xls.
