I am using V8 Saas

I need to set a custom EAN for a large number of products. One by one is not feasible for productivity reasons.

Each product already has some code numbers (internal reference and/or ISBN and/or ISMN)

Setting a custom EAN will allow to use a barcode scanner to expedite sales at the POS level.

How to implement this functionnality within Odoo - with the developper tools.?

Edit: I noticed that the "ean13 field" is declared as "not searchable". Is this normal and does this attribute prevent from scanning it at the pos ?
