I want to use the Virtual IoT but I don't know how to connect. Which steps do I need to follow?

To install your Virtual IoT box: 
1. Go to this page link:  https://www.odoo.com/fr_FR/page/download 

2. Click on the download button to download the software

3. You can follow the steps shown in this video.


Once installed on your device, you can proceed to connect it to your database, following this video.

(It is the same procedure as an IoT box connection with wifi)


Note: If during your implementation you face some problems with the Virtual IoT and the integrated devices connection you can restart it following this video.

!If after trying this is still not working you can contact our support team!  


❗Virtual IoT only works with a Windows system and databases from V16 onwards.

Yes right.
But you can use the popup customer display from the POS

Hi Isabel, 

Thanks for the video but i am not able to connect virtual iot box to my odoo instance installed on cloud server. I am getting this error in odoo 17. I am getting error "Connection to the IOT Box failed"

Hello,
maybe you don't have a trusted certificate because your contract don't have an "iot subscription"
you can manage it:
go in https to your iot homepage to accept manually the self certificate
https://iot-ip-adress

Hello Isabel, many thanks fot this thread. I've already installed the Virtual IoT and I get it to work on the POS app, but I'm really looking for a solution for printing on the inventory app, is there any way I get this to work? 

Even with the IoT connected the only option I get on the inventory app is to download PDF files.
