We are starting with Odoo and run into the following problem.
We sell articles where the customer receives a quantity for free
Example:
100 Units Red Wine 0.75L 5€
10 Units Red Wine 0.75L 5€ discount 100%
If we try to enter the second line in the same sale order or quotation, Odoo presents the first entered quantity of this article again.
How can we solve this problem?

How to enter the same product variant twice with different price in an purchase order in V17
Hi Kishor, this is possible but it depends on the configuration of the product.
You have the Productconfigurator or Ordermatrix, in the productconfigurator it is possible, in the matrix it is not possible. This was confirmed by Odoo Support.

Hi, thanks for your answer but in my V17 Odoo.SH (See the screen below) it doesn't work like that.
Perhaps it is because you are working with a product without variants.
-> Update 1: I checked again and it is possible with products without variants but not with products that have variants.
-> Update 2: It can be done with variants in PRODUCT CONFIGURATOR mode but not in ORDER GRID ENTRY mode

there is no issue on this scenario as if you enter a same product with a different quantity with discount it will work fine as you can check on a screenshot below.

there is no issue with variant also maybe you have a customisation that's giving you the issue. hope this helps you maybe you can check customisation or custom code if you need any help you can contact us at sale@warlocktechnologies.com
