Hello,

I have installed accounting module and configured chart of account; but after installing Sales module, a default journal with "code"="STJ" and "journal Name"="Stock Journal" and "type"="Sale" is automatically added to my Journals lists. when I try to delete this journal, I get following Error message:

"Unable to delete this document because it is used as a default property "

kindly let me know to delete this journal ?

I faced this issue recently, so after some digging I could to delete the above journal, but keep in mind you must have system property instead of which one you will delete it otherwise the system won't work properly.

now if you want to do this go to Settings>Parameters>Company Properties and look for "property_stock_journal" and delete it, after that go to journals and you will could delete the specified journal
