Hope you are doing well.
Firstly this is a Odoo's issue which is fixed in the latest update.
I have also replicated this issue in to an existing database and to solve this I have uninstalled website_sale module and installed it again after taking latest pull of V16 odoo. I also upgraded this module again and the issue was fixed.
So in your database, if there is no any important record then you can uninstall this module and again install this module with latest pull. From this process, your issue is might be solved.
The reason for this might be that your database was created when this issue was in Odoo's code, after few updates the issue was fixed by Odoo but your DB still had the old code/views so you are getting issues when updating the app. Please follow the above steps and it 'll be solved.
