Hi,

I'm trying to use email aliases when sending emails from Odoo. We use Google Workspace to manage our domain/email accounts.

I can update the helpdesk template ok; the edits are received when I view the received the email in my email client, apart from the email_from is always listed as the email of the Odoo assigned user richard@ rather than support@ (as per my edits to the template). The reply_to is updated, despite showing as the user email address; when I click reply, it creates the response email to the correct reply_to email address.

I suspect this is due to the outgoing email server connection with Google Workspace.

Is there any way to use multiple outbound aliases in Odoo (e.g. helpdesk@ accounts) without having to create multiple extra mailboxes in Google Workspace?

Inbound email through Google CatchAll is fine, it just seems that all outbound email is locked to display as coming from my user account rather than anything I specify in the various templates.
