Hi,

I have followed the documentation to flash the IOTBOX image (https://nightly.odoo.com/master/posbox/iotbox/iotboxv20_10.zip) on a raspberry pi and that works fine if my Odoo server is running on the same network with the IOTBOX on raspberry pi.

However when i try to connect the IOTBOX to another remote Odoo server which is not running on the same network or even to runbot as mentioned here in the documentation https://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/12.0/iot/config/connect.html it only gives me black screen on the display screen connected to IOTBOX and it does not connect to the remote Odoo server .

Is there any additional step i should do for this ?
Any solution ?

Ok i think the problem is solved !

The token that i provided from the runbot didn't filter the databases so after i entered the correct token which filters the databases it worked fine + if we are trying to access the POS session from another device or another browser then we have to trust the certificate of the IOTBOX .

Hi Ahmed, As I am not a developper can you please explain the step by step process for flashing the raspberry sd card card with the Iot image?

Does the Iot image replaces the former linux os for the raspberry?

Ok I finally got the IOT documentation https://subscription.packtpub.com/book/business_and_other/9781789618921/app01/app01lvl1sec245/leave-a-review-let-other-readers-know-what-you-think

Which says
a) Iot box is a raspberry pi piece of hardware
b) with a specific Os to be flashed on the sdcard (or usb card)) for the the raspberry to boot

what is not specified is which raspberry pi model; I used the model 2 with my former v12 odoo; I make the assuption that this raspberry 2 will support the IOT Os image. Any advice on this will be appreciated. Thanks
