I know that Analytical accounting used for to maintain project/contract accounting maintainance. For Every project/contract can create one analytical account and we can use that for accounting of that project. How analytical accounting usefull for normal accounting?. I want to use this for business units. i.e i have 3 business units in my company, unit1, unit2, unit3. How analytical accounting usefull to get financial report of each unit?. I want to use only one accounting system for all units.
