Is possible to make a Backport of Summernote module, from v9 to v8?
I took a look at Odoo 9 and I realised that it uses Summernote as web editor (`web_editor` module). I would like to know if it would be possible to make the backport to the 8 version or if it would take too much effort in developping it. Is anyone interested as well?
I'm interesting in it because it has a picture gallery and it can store images in the `/static` folder instead of writing the base64 code in the mails (CKeditor module makes this)

I agree with @chesucr, web_ckeditor module is giving me too much problems when configuring email templates: images can't be sent, loops and conditions don't work and the 50% of the times it gets a JavaScript error (cannot read method x of undefined)
You are right, and if you want to create templates with the website designer (in the marketing menu) it gives problems as well
