Hi guys,

Once I start CRM and opportunity, send offers, put documentation inside of the CRM, and finally order, why such documents are not copied to next steps such as sales order, delivery, invoice?

I changed the subject line to make it clearer.

As far as I know, Odoo doesn't copy documents for any linked transactions. If it did there would need to be an option to select which documents need to be copied (because they wouldn't all be relevant).

The transactions are linked, so it's fairly easy to navigate back to the Opportunity to see the documents.

Hi,

In standard Odoo, documents (Attachments) added in the CRM Opportunity are not automatically carried over to the next stages like Sales Order, Delivery, or Invoice.

This behavior is not available by default in Odoo. Each model (CRM, Sale Order, Picking, Invoice) stores its own attachments independently.

In Odoo, if you attach documents in the CRM lead or opportunity, they are not automatically copied to the Sales Order when it is created. This is because CRM and Sales are separate modules, and attachments don't transfer by default.

To fix this, you can customize the system so that when a Sales Order is created from a lead or opportunity, the attachments are also copied over. A Developer can write a small script to automatically transfer those files during the conversion.
