Now i would like to work for a banking system and i need to insert the banking customers details .Is there any module to add customer details .Is it better to create a simple module myself for my requirement.

Bank information for Customers is already supported in OpenERP as soon as you install the Accounting module.
bank_ids is where this information is stored. Each bank record is shown at the bottom of the Accounting tab of each Customer record:
