With the POS in Kiosk mode, all product variants are required in order to add the product to your cart. Is it possible to have optional product variants?

For instance, I am trying to setup a POS for a food truck. Certain product attributes aren't always required. If I had a burger for a product and added a toppings attribute. There are people who just want a plain burger and the toppings wouldn't be required. Yet they are forced to select a topping.
