Australia needs new and profitable export markets. Small to medium wineries are missing out on significant revenue and wine lovers in foreign markets can't access a good variety of wine at a fair price.

Wine Export Initiative Ltd's (WEXI) new wine export program has been established for Australian wine producers who are interested in developing long-term export sales. It is initially targeting emerging Asian markets.

WEXI will partner with a limited number of wineries and, for a negligible startup cost, will manage their exports and help them to efficiently reach export markets. 

"Early on in the development of our business we realised that a flexible ERP system that could handle the complex operations from winery to retail outlet would be required and a partner with sufficient expertise to implement such a system.

WillowIT have extended the point of sale module to include custom features for wine sales and restaurants, such as wine sales by the glass, assigning table numbers, multiple printing options for the kitchen to facilitate in-house and take-away orders, custom discount offerings and added security features such as mandatory sign on/off and tiered security levels relating to staff.
