Fonicom Limited
Fonicom is an IT service company based in Malta that implemented Odoo directly. They came to Smart IT for support on a range of applications they were using. Smart IT carried out a discovery project to help the Fonicom team understand Odoo’s processes and align them with their day-to-day operations. The training was carried out in the areas of CRM, Sales, HR Finance, and Projects. Further applications like document management were reviewed within the discovery process to implement. Smart IT is now providing consultancy to migrate Fonicom’s hosting from Odoo online to Odoo.SH IT / Komunikace / Marketing
GRTU Services Limited
The General Retailers and Traders Union (GRTU) also known as the Malta Chamber forSMEs is a trade union in Malta that represents small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
across various sectors of the economy. It was established in 1968 and has since become a
prominent voice for the business community in Malta.
The GRTU works to promote the interests of its members by engaging in advocacy and
lobbying efforts, providing business support services, and organizing training and networking
events. The union also offers a range of benefits to its members, including legal and financial
advice, discounts on various services, and representation in disputes with suppliers or
customers.
The GRTU is involved in several initiatives aimed at promoting the growth and development
of SMEs in Malta. One such initiative is the Enterprise Europe Network, a European Union-
funded program that provides business support services to SMEs looking to expand into new
markets. The GRTU also runs the Business First initiative, which provides a one-stop-shop
for business registration and licensing services.
4Sight was awarded a Tender for the full digitalisation of GRTU. 4Sight has supported the
Union in Digitising all of its operation from the management of subscriptions to accounts to

Happy shopper, a shop, needed to efficiently manage its product inventory, including items sold by weight and others sold by individual units. The shop needed a way to efficiently manage product sales, ensuring the correct measurement unit is applied for each product type, whether it's sold by weight or by piece.The goal was to set up Sales module in Odoo to handle products, ensuring accurate sales processing, inventory management, and billing for all types of products sold in the shop.
To achieve this, Happyshopper implemented the Sales module in Odoo, configuring the Unit of Measure settings to handle different types of products. The Inventory Management allowed for seamless tracking of both bulk stock and individual items, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
By setting up Odoo’s Sales Module with UoM configuration, Happyshopper successfully streamlined the sales process for both weight-based and unit-based products. This integration ensured accurate pricing, smooth sales transactions, and real-time inventory tracking for all products. It also helped improve customer satisfaction by reducing errors at checkout and ensured the convenience shop could efficiently manage a diverse range of products with different selling methods.
