In the continuous manufacturing process, we need to see if we are behind the schedule planned in order to take action to recover the delay.
Example:

product has 1 operation that takes  60 min/company working time is 40 hours week.

The company receives a manufacturing order for 40 units to be produced. (which gives 08 products to be produced by day for a full week)

As you can't see the number of units already produced and still to produce in the schedule, the workaround is:

1 - Split the manufacturing order into 05 different ones. So you will have 05 orders with 08 units to produce each. And adjust the schedule dates per new MO.

2 - Plan your new MO's

On the first day, the company has only produced 5 units and created a back order of 03 units that still needs to be produced, meaning the production is delayed.

We could take 02 actions:

A- increase the  work center capacity or efficiency

B - add a new work center to help recover the delay.

We have chosen the second option - adding another work center to recover the delay from Monday on Tuesday.
