Hello,

we want to start to use Odoo Helpdesk. We use the ticket creation by email. E-Mail Fetcher is working fine. 

But I don't know how I can automatic assign a ticket to the right customer. The customer is created as contact include the sender email address.

The customer field is filled in with the email display name.

Any ideas?

It seems the customers' email ids you already have in your existing contacts don't match the email ID of sender creating the ticket. Hence it is creating them as a new contact.
Hope I understood your question.
