we are coming from OTRS and migrated to Odoo Helpdesk. OTRS had an excelent full text search. So we had been quickly able to search against full ticket database.
In Odoo I don't have the possiblity. Am I wrong? I want to search in subjects, descriptions, notes, messages.

The filter you did seems to be a good solution to this.
However, how could this be used quickly? I would really like to change the way that the search field works in general. When I now write something in the search it always only searches from SUBJECT and TICKET ID SEQUENCE. Adding your filters as a default search does not work because then I'd need to enter the parameters of the default search and fill in a search for all the VALUEs. It is very clunky.

thanks for your answer. Oh, these are bad news. :-(
We are using Odoo Online. So I think there's no possibility to extend by fts_base. Let's hope for further development.
